Liscense plate light?

I got a street legal plate for my quad today and one of the requirements is to have a light for the liscense plate.
Any suggestions?

i know it might be a sin to interbread brands, but the tail lamp on a 05 yfz450 has a clear lens on the bottom of it, then you would have tail, brake, and plate light.
just an idea.

Thanks but the honda has the LED lights so I dont think this will work. I saw some other post about the lighted whip, they would plug it into a harness on the quad. So I was hoping to try somthing like that. Not sure yet!

check at a harley shop mabey they have something small you can use??

I have no idea how a quad can ever be street legal. But hay, there is always a first for everything.

What would be easy and cheap would be to cut the bottom out of the tail light lense and then fab in a clear cover, maybe even use some clear tape just to get started. This way the light will shine down onto the plate.


Or you could check

www.superbrightleds.com and they will more than likely have something you can splice in there. Plus it will not draw anymore current than what your tailight is using.

And yes you can make a quad street legal in AZ.

Wish I lived in AZ. PA is a quad friendly state but they won't make them street legal.
