im looking for a 250r thumb throttle and stock cable that is good condition.

they are NOT the same. the 400ex throttle doesnt have enough throw to open the 250r throttle all the way.

you CAN use a 400ex throttle on a 250r, it just takes a different cable and maybe the cap on the carb, I put one on my 250 a couple years ago. i will sell you my old 250R thumb throttle and cable for $30

ive tried it already and it doesnt open fully.
post a pic of your R throttle and cable, if it looks good ill take it.
