My friend just got a tecate 3 motor and we put it on his mojave frame and it runs so we were wondering what pipe would fit on there because the stock pipe that came with the motor doesn't fit:devil:

yes somebody finally doing something different.:D you may have to do your own custom deal.after going through a gang of pipes for my cr250 blaster,i found out i could use the one from the bike if i tilted the motor back a lil'bit.try it,the mojave motor is a lot bigger than the tecate motor so you should have plenty of room.try a tecate 4 pipe as well

I'd try using most of the tecate pipe, and a silencer that will fit. Then take it to a local exhaust shop and have them connect the 2 parts together to fit using some mandrel pipe. But being a 2-stroke pipe it could be trickier than that since stinger length, etc. all effect the power curves.

its if the 86/87 tecate motor(powervalved) first try a tecate 4 pipe, the tecate 4 and mohave chassis are very similar.

we took this to cpi and they built the pipe from nothing and it cost under 400.00.

It's a blaster frame.
As for the Majave/tecate, someone said that the tecate4, and majave frames are close, so if they are right then the tecate4 pipe should be pretty close to fitting. If you take it to someone that has a welder, and some fabrication skills it should be reletiviley easy to make that pipe fit.

That is a 250 motor in a blaster with the maier race cut front plastic and raptor rear plastic. Its pretty sick. I can't wait to see this mojave with a tecate engine.

I would just get a bracket made for the exhaust and get someone to weld the bracket on for you:blah:
