Pros = make truck look kick *****, if u offroad u can go a lot more places without getting stuck, the chicks dig it. Cons = loose ride quality, loose fuel mileage, if u offroad u might try to take it to far and stick it really good, some insurances are picky and it could raise your premium, big tires and wheels are REALLY expensive. But in my opinion the Pros have it :D go for it !

If all you are wanting is 315's you could almost tuck them now. All you need is a little 3 inch suspension lift. If you are sticking a 6 or 8 inch lift you better be rollin pn 38" tires +

Not really...

Gas mileage - Re-gear and you'll get most of it back, cept for cruisin' down the interstate, in which wind resistance ****s you over.

Ride quality - You've gotta pay to play. Get good shocks, the right lift kit and a proportional wheel/tire combo and you'll have factory ride quality, and again, maybe a little better.

8" is a massive lift on an f250. and 8" lifted ford f250 will sit about as high as a chevy silverado with a 12" suspension lift. i have a chevy tahoe 4x4 with a 6" suspension lift and a 2" body lift with 35" tires and my buddies f250 with a leveling kit and 35" tires sits about the same height as mine. one of my other friends has a 6" lift on his f250 and it makes my tahoe look stock.

if you can afford an 8" inch lift and the right size tires (37" or more for a proportional look) go for it. its totally worth the money and yes the girls do love it.

My buddy does fabrication for his own company. He put air ride on his 97 f350. His truck rides better then a cadilliac(sp) no joke. We went across the rows in a corn field and it was like going down the road. Big $ though. Heres a picture its lop sided because he let the air out of that bag to get out.:D He can do every bag independantly and while driving. If he puts a load in the back he levels it out.
