Which one is better?

Which shock for my 300ex would be better with either +3 or +2 a arms

Stock yfz shochs or Elkas without rezzis or Works Without rezzies?

i useally do fast trail riding jumping but nothing huge mabey 30 foot at the most and very little riding at mx tracks

I have +2 houser arms and Elka Rec shocks on my 400EX and they ride great. I would suggest going with Elka in my opinion. The Works are fine...I just prefer Elka

get plus 3's and use 4:1 rims, works or elkas depends on what you wanna spend.

how do the yfz shocks compare to the works shocks

Go for the works or elkas. The YFZ shocks aren't going to be set up right for a 300ex at all. You will spend just as much or more money trying to get the yfz shocks to work right than you would on works or elkas. Works are a great shock for the price but I would say the elkas are a tad better but for the type of riding you do the works would be enough. If you want a little extra shock travel you could use aftermarket 300ex a arms with a shockmount bracket or LT a arms and custom built works/elkas(400ex length).

Get the elkas. The yfz shocks will be much better than stock, but the elkas will be much better than the yfz shocks. They're made specifically for you and the bike.

^^^ completely correct. The elkas are the best choice. I personally dont like the idea of putting something on my quad that wasnt designed for that purpose. Plus with the Elkas you will get them completely set up for your weight and riding style. Which is a major plus. Get the elkas!
