Ok guys, I am trying to get a new quad. I am not set on any one quad. I am more or less trying to get the best deal in the Pa area. I will travel to other States if the deal is good but not across the country. What are you guys paying for the 06ER or 06R OTD, "out the door". I am stuck between the YFZ450, TRZ450 and Z400 all in the 06 variations.

$6045 OTD is petty good for an 06. I know that West Hills Honda (http://www.westhills-honda.com/) is selling 05s for just over $4800. OTD I would guess around $5400.

Add $299 for parts and $100 labor to the $6,045 for having one OTD with an HRC kit installed.

I can't get over the price difference.

MSRP is $6,799
HRC kit $359
labor to install kit 2 hours? $100

Then sales tax is just over $500.

I have called my nearest 2 dealers both are near the same price.

Are the dealers with the low prices huge dealers?

Skip's Honda Center in Keyser, WV which is 20 minutes south of Cumberland, MD.

(304) 788-1615 or (301) 786-4627.

$6,045 for a 2006 450r with electric start. This is a true OTD price. This is the amount you will write on your check. Skip's doesn't charge for freight, setup, or taxes if you are out of state.

It is up to you to get in registered in your home state if you so desire. For me, there is absolutely no reason to have a title instead of a certificate of origin and a bill-of-sale.

Maryland sux for ATV riders.

Cool, thanks guys. The Tenn one is a great deal but it is a little far of a drive from the Pittsburgh area. ;)

what is included in that warranty? dont you basically void most of it once you mod it? seems sorta like a waste to me, would rather take that 400 and put it towards a pipe

I was told that I could get a 2.5 year extended warranty for $700. I was also told by another dealer that if the quad was used in ANY competition the warranty was void.

Cheapest I have found a 06 450r w/hrc installed is $7475 OTD.

yeah im not its worth it. What all makes it void?

Best deal I could get in Utah was $7350 OTD. This included the HRC kit installed (about $500). A 42 month warranty is an extra $500. I've opted out of the warranty due to comments and suggestions made by forum members here. Seems that warranty coverage is quite subjective to the definition of normal wear and tear.
