Renthal, Tag, or Pro Taper bars?

What bars does everyone prefer? Which ones are the strongest and what bends does everyone run?

Looking for new bars for my 400EX. I recently bent my stock ones. I do trail riding only- no mx or anything like that. I am looking for a 7/8th bar with crossbar pad. Thanks!

I didn't include Flexxbars because I can't justify nor afford spending $300 on handlebars, although I understand the benefits and would love to have them.

Anyone else have any opinions? I know a lot of people have aftermarket bars.

i have pro taper se bend and the are very strong ive put my quad on its side a few times and they are yet to bend. some of the guys that ride out in mt local sand pit have them on there dirt bikes and thay say that they r the strogest bar the have ever used.

i would deff go with the pro tapers:D

I got a set of Renthal's,. I like them, they really suited me well. I tried a bunch of different bars at the shop, then bought the ones that felt best for me. No complaints so far.

They are all good bars some like the tag because they come in different colors as well as the renthals as for bend if you like the way the stock bars feel go with the fourtraxx bend another popular bend is the cr hi which are lower and staighter.

I've got Pro Tapers on my 400EX and had TAG's on my 250R and I can't tell a bit of difference. Haven't bent either one.

I've never owned or dealt with Renthal, but I have owned both TAG & ProTaper.

I had my ProTaper's first and when I bought my TAG's, my first thought was that they didn't have the visual quality of the ProTapers. Functionally I've not had a problem with either one.

Also, I e-mailed both TAG & ProTaper recently trying to replace stripped bolts on my universal mounts.

TAG never responded.

Not only did ProTaper respond, they did it within a few hours and they sent me the bolts I needed as well as a few other goodies at no charge.

ProTaper is at the top of my list next time I go to buy bars.

I have run the same set of Pro Tapers on two different quads now. I bought my 450R in May of 2004 and kept the protapers from my other quad that I had ran the same bars on for two years. They have been rolled over on 10 times or more and still not bent

Thanks for all of the responses, I really appreciate it. I think I am going to go with the Pro Tapers. I have heard good things about all three and everyone's opinions and comments made my decision a lot easier. Thanks again!

I've always wanted some pro tapers, i always heard good about them. just the other day i bought the pro taper se bars atv mid.
