I purchased a White Brothers E-series slip on for my 400ex. Where the silencer connects to the stock head pipe there is a leak. Not a huge leak ,but enough to make my plastic black and sooty. If anyone can help me with my little problem i would really be greatful. ... Thanks!

"I got leaky Pipes!"

Im sure the doctor can help you out with that! :D

Go to your dealer and buy a new silencer gasket. I tried the stock one when i put my white bros on but it sucks and leaked. get a new one there around like 10 bucks.

Im not too crazy how White Bros designed the connection point to the header pipe. Mine leaked as well.

To fix the problem, I had to tighten that clamp down REALLY tight!

As for your sooty plastic....switch to a leaner jet. :D

mine did the same thing on my 250x al i did was go buy some muffler mender and wrap it around the head pipe. idk if the 400 pipe has like a little ridge about 1 1/2 -2 in away from the very back of the head pipe?? but i wrapes it all the way up to the end of that and no more leak!!! my 2 cent...
