2005 450r tail/brake light removal/install questions...

I smashed my rear brake light recently and have ordered a new one. How do i remove the original? Is it a simple unlug and plug in or what? Getting my valves adjusted right now and the quad is at the honda shop. I just wanted to get a heads up before i get her back tommorrow. Your help is appreciated.
