OMG!!! My ipod won't play music!

I just got an ipod shuffle for Chrsitmas and i D/L'ed the songs and it has a full charge and the hold isn't on or anything and when i press play it does nothing it just sits there with the battery loosing charge. It doesn't ply or anything.

WTF is wrong?

Has anybody had this problem with there ipod shuffle?

You say that you deleted all the songs...did you put any songs back onto the ipod? If not, BINGO, there is your problem. :D

"D/L'ed" means downloaded not deleted

When you turn it on and press play,does the green light come on or does it flash amber?

Everything is a okay in the manual the green light is on, it got a good chagrge and whanot theres no possible reson for it not to be be playing the songs , but i did try pressing the volume button a billion times too.

Are you using headphones?

I'm using the headphones that came with it. I"m gonna dowlond 2 more songs and try it again.

Make sure your songs are mp3 format... that's the only format they will play..

I took them from limewire and all the songs on limewire are mp3
