im going to get surround sound speakers for my bed room, its about 10' x 10' big. i want to watch movies on my xbox and play games on it with the surround sound and listen to music. My budget is at the most is 220 dollars

i was looking at Sony 5.1 Channel Home Theater System (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sony-Home-Theater-System-HT-DDW670-/sem/rpsm/oid/119802/catOid/-13325/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do)

is this a good set? if it isnt then what would be a good surround sound system?

thanks a lot

you know that xbox has a special hi def wire with DIGITAL OUT so you can play games in surround sound ?

the all in one home theater systems are alright but they lack the ability to hook up other components and if they do allow inputs they are variables that are a pain....

ONKYO makes a really good all in one home theater system for around 300-400 but no dvd player, but since you have a xbox you can watch through there.

honestly you should think of the future and get a reciever thats capable of allowing over 5 pieces of equipment to be hooked up to it at once, so you can use the reciever as a video switcher as well.

frankly 210 is not enough to get a decent system. you get what you pay for...

I design systems so consider this a professional suggestion.
