Well you may know that I broke a lot of stuff this summer, had surgery, spent about my entire summer in a wheel chair or on crutches, ANYWHO, Today Aflac calls my dad to tell him a check should be here within the next day for $3200 for my pain and suffering. My dad just bought smurf his pants and well Now im trying to sell my 450 parts for a new one. What my question is What 450 do I buy???? Im not biased to any brand, but everyone I ride with has a Yamaha and I want something different. I know that the new 450r is very nice with all the new features and well I think its the one I want. I could also wait forthe LTR to come out but Who knows what problems they may have the first year. This is for sure guys, as long as I can sell my YFZ parts for around 2500 all together.

im a bit biased on the yfz but id wait till the ltr comes out then decide.

Not to be greedy, but if you spent an entire summer in a wheelchair, your pain and suffering should have been a lot more. Hell you could have made 3 grand easy working a decent job.

My dad got in a serious accident about 5 years ago. Had 4000 worth of medical bills alone. Insurance tried to cut him a check for 4600 for everything. He sued for 20,000 and got all of it. Shame his lawyer took 1/3 of it, my dads knees have never been the same since.

Bottom line is, they wrote that check as the best possible situation for THEM. If you can hold out for the money, you could probably recieve more.


Anyways, if you cant tell I hate insurance companies.

No doubt about it,i would get the 450r, but not a BRAND new one....wait until there are a few used 06's up for sale...you know, like the people who buy them then ride them once or twice and lose interest....then you can buy it for a good bit less than from the dealer and you may have some money to buy some aftermarket stuff....

then you can take some diff pics where your quad is raping tom's because his is a yamaha:D

Well guys next week i should have it, i just got back from the dealer and after sitting down with owner for a good 15 minutes i got him down to 6350 OTD for brand new 2006 Electric Start Blackand 500 in bonus bucks.

yeah but those are only special order, i would have to wait 2 months for dealer to get them. And i broke my rightleg so it would hurt kicking i think

Hopefully my insurance company sends me something like that! It would be perfect to pay off my 450

I got in a wreck,and didn't even get hurt and collected $4,500..I guess it all depends on location... Post pics when you get it :D

3 times your medical bills is a good starting point, according to my attorney. So far the bills are at $14,000 and were not even close to being done with them yet.

get the 450r imo ltrs will more than likely have their problems when they come out just like all of the other first year bikes.
