I am planning on getting a whole new suspension set up on an '05 TRX 450r. I talked to K & K and East Coast about the Gibson A arms with Axis shocks --- this set up sounds pretty good. How about the swinger? K & K says to go with the Lonestar Outlaw, so that a dual rated spring can be used. East coast says no way --- they have had nothing but problems on Wimmer's bike when they tried the Outlaw and ARS-fx with dual rated shocks. Apparently, the leverage is all wrong. They recommend JB swinger with GT Thunder link and single rate shocks.

I ride mostly on tracks, but they are typically not groomed and pretty darn rough. Every once in a while I hit the trails too.

Any advice on front and rear setups?

Thanks

Why not just go with JB or ars/fx all the way around?.... I don't care for LSR ever since I've had to deal with there customer service.... I run jrd all the way around w/ axis LT... rear is built w/out comp. adjustment so it's still a LT shock but can be used on the stock travel swingarm with the lowering linkage...
