Anybody around Bucks county PA have any 40" muddin tires that'll are in a 5 lugger rim that matches the pattern of a 79 ford f150? If you do would you consider lettin me see what they see like on my truck? I'm thinking about gettin 40s when I move, but before I blow 1500 or more I wanna see if thats too big or not.

not tryin to be a smartass but im assuming since its 5 lug its still half ton drivetrain correct? if so you will hate yourself forever for goin to 40's... you WILL destroy your axles...

I don't think so, thats like 4-8 hr drive depending on where he is, and I don't really have the money right now, well I'd rather not spend it now, I just wanna throw somebodies 40's on for a couple minutes to see if I like em....I'll buy some after I move out to iowa.

no thats $250 for all 4 of them. they are on rims too. the rims have some rust on them and the tires have about 50% tread left i think. not sure ill have to check.

my buddy has trashed his 8 lug D44 with 37x14.00 IROKS... a good rule of thumb with a 5 lug D44 is to stick below a 36 or so... the 9" is a pretty strong axle but dont know much about it... i know a guy i wheeled with a couple of times at tellico has a bronco with a 9" under it and 37's and has not had any problems...
