When i bought my burgard +2+1 a-arms i also got a shock relocater so i could use 400ex shocks,450r shocks, yfz shocks, z400shocks, and the aftermarket ones of all them. I didn't have a whole lot of money so i just bought some 400ex shocks off ebay for i think 70-80 bucks, alright when i went to tune em in at a riding area i ended up having in on the stiffiest setting and they still are to soft. Do you think they are bad or what.

more then likely the shocks are worn out if they are stockers, and with a shock relocator that will accept 4 different model shocks id suspect it could be just a bad set up all the way around

the relocater pushes the frame mounts out farther so it shouldnt be the kit.

hence it screws up the geometry the stock shockers were valved and designed for.

in short, save your money, and get a nice set of shocks that'll fit it. Maybe not top of the line elkas or custom axis, but there are lots of decent priced shocks out there

Yea it has more leverage or something. What should i do. can i compress the spring and put a few spacers under the spring. I think i might go with some 450r shocks.

man i sure do wish i could. sorry. and what do u mean made to fit 400ex, don't they just bolt right up. and do you know if you have to bolt them up backwards(rezzies pointing away from engine)with a shock relocater on a 300ex. the reason i ask is because i seen a pic somewhere that had em on a 300ex and the rezzies were pointing out towards the front bumper.
