hi my back brake is not working is it easy to take apart

my best friend has a 250ex, and he tried everything to get his back brake fixed. But nothing will work. He has tried tightning and many other things like taking it apart hich is just complicated. But, he just gave up and uses the the foot and front brake.

well,at least on my reconi rode in water alot and it got inside thew drum's casuing the bearing to go out,so you need to rplace the bearing's and is it in the foot brake or handle bar mounted one?if it's on the handle bars you might wanna check you brake line and bearing int eh brake or new shoes
