I got my son whos 17th birthday is on thurs. a 87 Grand National...

I told him to take it slow for awhile.. when I was driving it over to the house to surprise him, that thing was fishtailing everytime you hammer the gas...

Those turbos are quick!

I did all this without the wife even knowing.. If i told my wife I was getting my son a GN she would kill me. She was a tad bit mad when I pulled up in it with the big bow on it.. but she got over it quickly... :blah:

Man is he lucky. My dad used to have an 87 only had about 17000 miles on it. Those things can really move and light up the tires.

No, I bought it from a young man in Eldersburg, Maryland.

He knew quit a bit about what the car was and all. He just said he did not have the time to enjoy it.

He had the car since 99 and put 300 miles on it! In 6 years, almost 7 years now.

It is a two owner car, and the speedometer just went over 36k!

Thats pretty trick,i would love something like that.....haha but im good,i didn't ask for anything this christmas because we moved and it cost my rents alot of money,but they still got me stuff.

i would chit myself if my mom/stepdad pulled up in one of those and handed me the key, ive wanted a GN ever since i saw one up at turbo tune in greensboro BREAK the dyno ever since the dyno has been off about 50 hp on way or the other give or take 25. when it went the sheet read 1000 hp and 907lb ft of torque. it was the craziest thing id ever seen! the guy who owned the car looked at me and said "see it smoking? all electronics have smoke in them...once you let it out, you cant put it back in!" i think he said the load generators went on it so it cant put a load on cars anymore

the wheels are on both sides, anyway i'am sure a kid his size the training wheels wont last long. my nephew is 4 and tears it up on his fiddy. with no training wheels, but he has been riding it for 2 years now.

lucky kid...i wanted a gn for a long time...untill i realized i would rather have a car that is able to park ontop of a gn haha...so now i have a fj40 and a range rover...and no liscense to drive either of them yet...argh
