hey guys, i just got my 440 put all together and it feels really really lean. i think i was running a 158 main jet before the 440 kit and i was just wondering what you guys were running and what jet size i should go with. my modifications are in my signature.

thanks, Jim

we run a keihin 158 also with the stock needle in the 4th clip position from the top. we also run a 42 or 45 pilot jet. both will work, just compensate by messing with the fuel screw. this is with the air box lid on.

i went on duncans site and went by what they said to run. they said to runa 42-45 pilot jet 4th clip down on the needle and a 178- 182 on the main jet. i put the 178 main, 42 pilot jet, and same needle setting and it really opened my bike up. But i also have an "insane...performance" aluminum air box, at least i think thats what it is... with no lid. i havnt had time to really open it up but it seemed to have better throttle response, also sounds alot better and has nice tone to thanks to that yoshimura pipe.
