yfz450 carb on 400ex?

ok, i know the yfz450 stock carb is an fcr 39mm, just like the mod for the ex. when you buy a yfz carb for the ex, will it bolt rite up with out any modifications? can you use your stock ex cable?

The yfz fcr is way diffrent then the one most people use for the 400ex. For either one you would need a 450r or yfz throttle cable.

wouldn't you have to worry about the tps?

The tps wouldn't affect the 400, since they dont come with a tps. The main problem is if you would mount it in the manifold the airbox snorkle would be about 2 inches 2 short.
