Out of all new sport quads available today, which one do you think is the best value, or which one gives you the best overall performance/reliablility for the price?

depends on what your looking for

if you have money and want power with a lot of choices go with the 450r or yfz 450 but they have a nice price tag (around 5 to 6k i belive)

if your looking for trail riding go with the 250ex around 3k its one of the most reliable machines i ever saw

it really depend if you are buying new or used.

New-450ER
Used- suzukawicat (Z/KFX/DVX400) or the 400ex which you can buy a 2001 for about 2,300 easily

everyone i know loves the 450r for trail riding. Some dudes i know don't like their yfz's for riding trails. Personally i love the yfz for trail riding. I just made my statement baised on public opinion. Im not biased at all, just going off of what some of the people i know say. Yfz is a great all around what too, you'll jus thave to ride both the 450er/r and the yfz if you make a decision between those two

Definitely will use it for trail riding. Some occasional trips to the dunes. I know a place that will sell a new 450r for 5799. I just want a sport quad - and I plan on gettin another job so I can fund my toys. My bayou is starting to crap out:( . But thats my fault. And that last trip to waynoka ate the polaris sportsman 500 alive. Once one of those boots breaks and sand gets up in the cv joint - ouch. That was a $500 in maintenance trip.:eek2:

It would help if it would outrun a certain KFX400 in town.;) - but thats not the most important thing.

A YFZ450 would be awsome if I could find a good deal on a new one.

Not sure if I like the independent rear suspension on a sport quad.... like i said on the other polaris little sahara is hell on those boots, and if you don't catch it in time - it can cost ya.

Well only time will tell how reliable they are. I have always been a fan of the predators, and I think the outlaw is a really good design. Thats just my oppinion.
