Here are some pics of my 426 Christmas day. I got Plastic, Seat cover, and graphics for Christmas. The plastic is Maier and really fits great. I also got a new hood and painted it Arrival blue. Matches my frame Dam good!

Dont mind the no seat and the front end. We didnt get around to putting it on today and for the front end I have Gibson LT a-arms and Looking for a set of shocks now. Im going to get Pappy tp powdercoat the bottom arms Trans blue and the top Chromed or textured black.

what did ya think of the quality of the hellbound graphics? i have a set on the way. Curious as to what you paid too? 39.95 + 15 s&h Nice quad im going real real close to that. But i have silver plastic and a lil stealth black truout.

I Like the graphics alot. They went on easy and they are really thick. The only thing im not to crazy about is that there is no hole for where the gas on/off knob is. You half to cut it yourself. But I just put the graphics on then push around the outline of the hole and cut it out with a razor blade.

YES HE DOES!!!! But he's a very smooth rider, so that saves the wheels.

Ha. Yeah I definetly need some beadlocks. I havent bent them yet except for the left front. Not much but its there. The backs have the normal dings from not having beadlocks. I think a nice set of Shamrocks would look awsome on there.:D

Wth the rings the same color as the frame!!! Ask Pappy about them wheels. Just do like I do, and go out to the tree and pick a few Franklins!!!!

Yeah it would! I might get the Shamrock front wheels and a mormal pair of beadlocks for the rear cause wheels are so dang expensive. Especialy for Shamrocks.:eek: That would look pretty sick.

Is this your last season racing the 400? I thought you were getting a 450R or changing that into a hybrid. Either way, it looks good!

Well I think im gonna be keepin this for a while and maybe later makin it a hybrid. I did have plans to sell mine and get a 450 but it didnt work out as planned

Sounds Good! I'd like to build a hybrid someday, but I'm not sure how much work is involved in it. Are they comparable to 450's? The only reason I'd like to have a hybrid is because I fit better on a 400 then I do on a 450, so it would probably be easier for me to ride.

what did you use to color the head and valve cover?

rebuilding my 400 and taht looks perdy.

I used High temp satin black spray paint. I think it is like 1400 degree paint.

any close up pics.. how did you cleen the ends of the fins. thanks.

did you take the rockers out to do the valve cover?

I can get some close up pics shortly. All I did was take a file or some sand paper and go over the fins. I took the top end off and seperated the cylinder, Head and rocker cover. Tape off the top of these so no paint gets inside them. Just take your time and it will turn out.
