I'm getting speakers for my X box. I choose these speakers. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16836121121

On the manufactor site is says
Got a Sony® PlayStation®2, Microsoft® Xbox®, or Nintendo GameCube™? Just plug in the Z-5300e using the convenient video game console adapter and immerse yourself in the explosions, music, and dialogue of your favorite games.

Now I don't know what they mean by "convenient video game console adapter" but I took a guess at what it is. Is it this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16874104003

And also for X box live, I have a router and a enthernet cable so all I need is the X box live kit right?

Thanks for all of your help and happy holidays.

Since you insist on a reply, I'll add my $0.02.

Its a waste of money IMO. Save your money and purchase a true 5.1 system. In the world of audio/video, you get what you pay for.

The Xbox outputs true DD - why not buy a system that decodes it. That system uses a "matrix" surround sound....JUNK. The Signal to Noise ratio is horrible...the power output is extremely low...

Do not buy the optical audio cable. The speaker system above does not appear to have "digital" inputs. Since it does not decode DD or DTS, I see no reason why they would include digital inputs.

I would recommend buying a good 2 channel stereo reciever and and quality speakers. If you cannot afford a decent 5.1 system, do NOT buy a cheap one. All that system will do is surround you with low quality sound.

A mid-range 2 channel stereo setup would sound much better.

I am very picky when it comes to A/V, but you really wanted someone to respond.
