Does a 440 kit increase power very much?Is it worth the money?

i think most of the power increase comes from the right cam and the increase in compression. i see that you have an aftermarket cam in your sig...but i dont know how much of increase it would be from your current set up.

good question, but do a search on 440 and stuff as there have been a bunch of good posts in the past that will help you out.

And the answer is yes, more cc's = more power.

To the people who are gonna tell us all about their smaller cc engine stories :blah

It sure does add more power, and to me it was worth the money. The best thing you can do is ride one that is already done, then you will want to do it for sure. :devil
There are a lot of worries that people have when doing a 440 kit. Like it will run too hot or they are unreliable. Truth is they do run a little warmer, which an oil cooler or over sized oil tank would help. I think that the reliablity is determined in how well it was put together and how well it is maintained.
If you decide to do it, you will not reget it. :D

If you are going to get a 440, make sure you save enough for the FCR carb, that really makes it worthwhile...
