the bolt has a tapered side and a flat side. Dowes the tapered side go on to the rim or out?

the t9s heres a picture. They sent me the wrong bolot pattern. I think they sent me yamaha not honda. Im not to happy my dad is even angrier (sp?)

flat side down on the rim. if u put the tapered side down somhow it like makes the hole smaller or something. happened on my itp rims and i had to drill them out a little bit so theyd fit again.

Actually you put the flat side facing out. It looks weird, but that is how it actually locks. The tapred side should be going towards the rim, or else it wont work as a lock nut.

you only put the tappered side in on oem style rims. on any aftermarket rims the flat side of the nut goes against the rim.

If you put the tapered side against the rim it will compress the hole around the studs and then you will have trouble getting them off and on again trust me i had to take my quad to the shop and they destroyed a wheel for me by putting the lugs tapered side aginst my wheel then using a air wrech to tighten them.
