i just did the 440 kit for my quad and it is overheating and blowing head gaskets
or
what do I need to do to my stock carb to make it run perfect
my elevation is 500ft above sea level

make sure you torqued them down right? might need oversized headstuds.
you need to up your mainjet, needle clip, and pilot jet. how much depends on a lot of things and your going to have to do a bit of experimenting to find out what works.
do a search on here and i'm sure you'll find all the info you need.

Oh man, that sucks! I heard 440s make your engine so unreliable, however this is what I have heard. Whether this is true I don't know. Hope U find an answer.

if they are built right they can be very reliable. so much so that the time between rebuilds is more than you would normally feel comfortable.
