You're right about CT - not much riding there. My buddy I ride with lives in CT, I'm in MA, and we go to MA a lot in the summer. You should really consider Newburgh NY, can't be much more than an hour from Shelton - you'd get on 84 in Danbury (I guess?) and go west over the NY line. It's about 20 minutes or so past that. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get you exact directions.

As far as Mass, some state parks allow riding but most are pretty rough going. I ride a Banshee and get through it ok, but it's not really Banshee territory - a lot rocky and rutted trails. Check out www.mass.gov/dcr/forparks.htm and click the ATV link on the bottom right. Pittsfield is the best of the state parks IMO...

Just sent you a PM with directions...let me know if you want to hook up there sometime. I had briefly spoken to JTQuad here about trying to get there sometime, just been so busy no time to ride...and the snow kinda sucked too. Maybe we can get a few of us to go.

Cool with me, the more the merrier. Could be a little tricky getting around in the snow but I am dying to get out. Can you guys meet up tomorrow am? I need to be back by mid afternoon or so, so I was thinking to get up there Monday around 10am or so. Let me know if that works.

no problem, couple of us drove down and rode for a while this am. Hardly any snow there, it was pretty good. Let me know when you have a chance to go and we'll try to hook up there. Looks like more snow coming so have to wait till it melts off...

theres a lot of snowmobile trails in barre and most wheeler trails are for 4x4. but i live on 40 acres and i have a small track in the yard and i want to build a huge loop on the 40 acres. i also have a good size field and want to put up a steel ramp

YamahaRaptor350 - yep, Monson isn't too far from me. I don't get out that way too much so I don't really know the area. How far are you form Pittsfield State Forest? It's a pretty good spot, only open June - Nov I think.

Mach 5 - if I had 40 AC, I'd build a sick track too!

If you're interested PM me and next trip we take down to NY I'll let you know...hook up if ya want.
