Has anyone out there used and abused one of these G-Force axles? I'm thinkin' for $200 bucks it's worth a shot. I like to jump, but I'm not into sailing over tree tops. I'm wondering if it'll hold up to XC races, MX play, and lots of trail abuse.

Yup, it's worth it... I have one and I race mx and beat on it, i've had mine for a year now and its still strait.

I have had no problem yet. When me and my dad were sliding it through the carrier it was real tight & snug, then i tightend the locknut and was real snug. make sure you put them cotter pins in.

Too bad they don't come in stock lengths. The trails are really tight around here!

If you do not use any spacers it should be the stock length should it not? The spacers should be the reason it is wider than stock , and if you do not use the spacers it would be stock width I do believe.

I run one on my quad, and must say that it can take a beating of mine ( mx play and small freestyle) with no ill effects at all! I would say it is at least as strong as stock.

I would be quite confident in racing mx on mine as I plan to do this season.

I am not sure I would want to spend more money for a different axle , unless I get a failure with the g-force.

So far , I am sticking with the "you get at least $200 worth from a g-force " attitude.

Keep the rubber side down!

I have a Durablue HD now and have to say I don't think I would buy one again. Its about 1 1/2 years old and in the first 2 months the wheel hub splines were already sloppy. I'm already on the second brake hub and sprocket hub also. All Durablue. I only ride trails somewhat hard and NO racing at all. I had less trouble with the stocker but bought aftermarket figuring it would be better.
jaspurx-Could you measure the G-Force axle without the spacers to see if its really the same width as stock? Do you have a 400EX? I talked to RM about them already and they told me they only came in +2 and +4 widths.
I need a new axle because I don't feel like buying new hubs again. I'd like to try the G-Force but don't want to go wider.

When the spacers are removed, the axle is 2 inches wider than stock, the spacers make it 4 inches wider than stock...

I GOT A BRND NEW ONE THIS MORNING FOR THE SHEE!! Ill be racing a whole season of mx and harescrambles with this baby.

Thats only 1 inch on each side? Right? Then it shouldn't be too much wider than on tight trails.
What comes with it? Do you have to buy new sprocket, brake and wheel hubs?

It has a life time warranty. It has the same warranty as LSR, Burablue, etc. Can't go wrong. I like mine.:D

myself and 3 of my buddies have the gforce. 2 of the 4 are bent and they are less than 6 monthes old without much hard riding on them. we mess around on a mx track and thats about it a couple times a month. my next one will be an rpm.

Anybody else have any problems with the G-Force? I would be running it at +2 which would have less stress on the axle.

Can anybody with a 400EX and a G-Force axle give me a measurement of the axle from end to end without the spacer?
