candy red translucent or the new sparkle red will match the top picture. frame and sub will run $225 to $250 respectively.

gloss black will do the second picture, frame and sub $175

i like both, each has their own opinion of what looks best so in the end its your call.

would the stealth black be any stronger than the trans red or sparkle red or are they all they same strength. also how rust resistent is the powder, like what kind of upkeepdoes it need to stay from rusting, flacking or chipping off.
thanks

the colors really dont mean anything with regards to durability, its the chemical make up of a given powder. stealth is a bit more forgiving then trans or sparkle, but under usual conditions they all should hold up well.

metal prep is the answer to peeling and flaking etc.(and proper cure cycles) all parts we do are coated with material that prevents surface oxidation and rust before coating.

once any coating is applied (paint, powder, chrome etc) it will last until surface deterioration or sub substrate deterioration attack the coating. this can start the minute a coating is scratched. once moisture is allowed under the coating it will eventually fail. dont let this scare you to bad, ive had frames back in here that were in use for 2 full seasons of racing without any unexpected wear or damage. the biggest issues with realtions to quad frames are from your riding boots and from direct impacts from roost. a rock traveling at 65 mph will chip chrome so powdercoat will fair no better.

with that said, i have every confidence in powdercoating as long as every precaution is taken to apply the coating properly.
