good xc tires, my 200x goes through some crazy mud pits with those tires, I no longer have the ones on beadlocks, those are 03's. The other ones are 02's, I have them on my xc atc250r and they have 3/4+ thread on them, after 3 years of use. I mostly do mx now, so I use 18" tires

I used the XCRs until the HDs came out. They hook up pretty good, but not as well as the HDs , but they are noticeable lighter, When I am just riding around, I put them on, and save my HDs for racing

yeah, see i was thinking of using them because of them having the side bite thread and because they are supposed to be narrower than the XC's, so i figured they would be better on my 300ex. How do they do in mud, does everything get stuck in them or what? and i am just going to be using these as rears because my fronts are still good.

I love the XCR's but in the realmucky stuff I use the HD's which are more agressive. ITP makes great ATV tires and best of all they are "Made In The USA"

so what is the difference between the HDs and the XCR beside the weight. There are both 6 ply. both 11" wide. And the side bite tread. So how much difference could they be

They would be good tires for a 300, That extra weight savings, especially on a smaller motor would make a big difference. They hoop up pretty good, that are a little bit narrower than the HDs but not too bad. If your interested in buying a set of used XCRs let me know. I have a set that is probley at 85-90% that I am thinking about getting rid of. I would keep them but I am getting another set of HDs and need the rims they are mounted on.

no thanks on the wheels. My sponsor, www.motoworldracing.com, is helping me real good on these.

So you guys think they will be a perfect tire for a 300ex

they are porb the best TRAIL tires i ever had...for being a soft rubber they hold up really well...I ride on asphalt alot and they hold up WELL. On the trails they run over all kinds of sharp objects( stick, glass, rocks...etc) I love them best TIRES for the TRAILS ever. Only downside is the WEIGHT and the Cost. They are 6 ply so expect to be a little heavier, and the cost bcuz after all they are Holeshots>:) :D
