K&n power kit

Would putting on a power kit to a stock 300ex be a good move? advantages/disadvantages? Should I do this before or after I put on an exhaust? thanks

if i could do it over again, i would have gotten a k&n air filter when i bought my pipe, and i would have also gotten an outerwear and the precharger (filter cleaner), and i would go to the shop and buy jets seperatly cause you get soo many jets that you will never use, like the 10 that are leaner than the stock one, its just a waste of money, if you really want a powerkit though i bought mine from motoman or motojoe i think, it was 100 with shipping
