Man, that looks like fun. My uncle used to have cart like that, minus the body. That thing would absolutely fly!

they're 100cc fully blueprinted motors
not sure what it will top out at, havent been to too big of a track yet but i want to, im sure it would top 90 or so, it all depends on gearing.
yeah, i bought a blue yfz from illinios, did you change your name on here? hope the racing is going well for you.
but yeah, go karts are a blast, not nearly as crazy as racing mx, but its still racing and its fun

How much do they cost to get into? I've wanted to do it for a while, and sites where I can learn more about it?

the only site i go to is www.4cycle.com
it has an awsome forum, you'll find everything you need to know there.
it really depends how nice you want to go. if you bought brand new everything with a couple sets of tires, you would have less then 4 grand in everything, its pretty cheap compared to quads.

What are the age limits, and classes, and do you know of a place where I could find a track listing for my area?

i always look under midwest, just search your area, make a profile and ask about tracks in your area, people will be glad to answer any of your questions.
Heres a site that shows Kart tracks by state

there alot less physically demanding, you still wake up sore the next day but not nearly as bad, i would say there about the same when it comes to amount of fun.
theres alot of engine builders out there, does he build briggs? i would consider my yamama motor builder the best in the midwest for building yamaha motors. if i can take it to tunica and fly past some of the top guys in the country, i would say he's doing a good job. too bad he's getting older though... anyways, thanks for the replies!
