I am going to be taking apart my carb for the 1st time soon after x-mass... I have a service manuel and know the procedure. But i heard there are some screws in the carb that are real easy to strip out... could someone explain and show with pics which are the screws that are easy to strip? Someone told me i can also go to a hardware store and pick up some screws of a diffrent kind that can replace the ones that strip. What would those screws be made out of? thanks alot

Well, the screws that hold the bowl on are usually pretty tight the first time you take them out. You can mess up the head if you're not carefull. maybe that's what "they" were talking about. Other than that, just don't go overboard when tightening. If the bowl screws are really tight, use a small Visegrip on the head instead of a screwdriver to break them loose.
