I think a 400ex maier hood or maybe a 250r would look better, not being anal or anything but you asked for opinons..

Polishing will make it brighten up. Do some engine parts and other aluminum or stainless things. Looking good though!

just get a stroker kit
nerfs and shocks and you will be ready to go

you should get the Elka shocks the tripple rate recreational series for the 400ex and get stock 400ex nerf bars then you will have a nice front end and I also heard the rear raptor shocks work well for the 300ex or you could just get a Elka or works rear shock

get a color scheme goin, things dont match up too well......and then just detail it and clean and polish everything...i can see lots of dirt on their. One day when you get bored, get a toothbrush, some wd-40, water hose, and some wrags and just clean everything. You'll be suprised how much better it looks once ur done

oh, and u might not want too, but i would get rid of the big goofy light and get some trail tech lights on ur handlebars

if u really dont have that much cash. you could just get a stock 400 front end for your 300. i was told that the 400 front end fits a 300 and it makes it plus 2. just a sugestion?

Thats a 450R hood and the mounting tabs at the front need to go inside the plastic, tuck them in there and it will smooth out the look. I like it havent seen anybody else try that yet.

Give it a good washing then get a graphics kit with a matching seat cover. It will really really really help pull the look together, instead of blah white, bluie seat that really stands out and black hood that matches nothing.

It looks fine now. If you don't have much cash, the best improvement you can make is to ride the thing rather than worry how it looks. When you've got expendable income worry how it looks. They are made to ride. Good Luck
