Right where the header slips into the pipe itself, there is a good amount of play causing a horrible vibrating noise. I think there were some sort of O-rings in there to make a snug fit but they are gone. Any suggestions to quiet this down? Would regular O-rings that you can pick up from the parts store hold up to the heat? Any ideas appreciated! Thanks!

i have the same problem. i tried using regular o-rings but they eventually get baked and just fall apart. i supposed from the factory there was some sort of poly bushing or something in there. i guess we should contact PC and see if they will send us new seals.

im about tempted to modify the end of the pipe to use a good pipe clamp and be done with it/

I was thinking about doing something with a clamp also. I was going to cut a slit on the pipe and clamp her down, should at least keep the vibrating noise down.

a kx125 high heat o ring works well. that is what pro circuit recommended and it cured my problem.

i had the same problem with my fmf it was realy loose. i just took some sheet metal and rapt it around the header where the silencer goes on. its solid dont move at all but dont seal the best got a little exhaust leak around there but its good enought for me.

Couldn't a muffler shop help by a quick weld?
