has any tried to retard your cam in your yfz and does it work.
iwas told that if you retard one that it gives more power then with a hot cam but he couldn't remeber which cam it was.

You can retard your exhaust cam one tooth and it will give you more topend but will lose a little bottem.

You can't do the cam mod on the Hotcams. They are already retarded one tooth.

for the hot cams i had my cam sprokets taken of the shaft and pressed back on only a half tooth. It made a better difference then a full tooth. The only thing is u need a hydr. press and good mesuring. I noticed that a full tooth was harder to start.
