Swinger... 350x on 300ex

Well I ordered a 350x swinger and rear shock for my 300ex and it seems that the pivit bolt is too small for the 350x swinger and it just wiggles like a mofo and the 350x swinger isnt as wide as the stock 300ex swinger, but that can be fixed with few washers. But how do I go about fixing the pivit bolt problem?

Also I was told that the shock would bolt up also, but I was told WRONG. Now I have to drill out the bushing so that the 300ex shock bolt will fit the 350x rear shock.

You might could get a 300ex bolt and tap out the frame to make it fit.

I thought that the 350x swinger was a direct bolt in replacement and I was told that also, but the 350x swinger where the pivit bolt slids through the swinger is apparantly larger in diameter than the 300ex swinger. This is aggervating. If I had of known it WAS NOT a direct bolt in replacement I would have just gone with a stock 300ex one.

Alright, I misworded my first post. So you have a pivot bolt for a 300ex swinger, and a 350x swinger. But, the bolt is too small for the swinger.

Well, why not try to get a 350x pivot bolt and make it work in the frame. If it is the same length, it should be fairly simple. The only thing that you would have to do is make the holes in the frame big enough to accomodate the 350x pivot bolt.

Thats just what I was thinking. Use the 350x pivot bolt and just drill out the holes in the frame so that it works. Regardless of what other people say if you are going to use parts from one atv and put them on another you are gonna have to do some modding to make them fit right, very rarely do the parts just bolt right up.

If I could just get some bigger needle bearings in the swing arm then it would work. Also if I used a 350x pivit bolt, then what do I do with my foot brake, because it all bolts up to the pivit bolt?

sell the 350x swinger and get the correct swinger, yes, I was told they interchange on 250x's, but for some reason, they don't use them a on 300ex's, I've only seen them on 250x's.

If they work on the 250x they will work on the 300ex. They are the same exact chasis.
