what kind of swing arm skid is the best for a 400?

I was wondering which kind of swing arm skid plate is the most durable but not to expensive..plz let me know what you think:)

well, I like my Pro Armor plates but they arent cheap, PRM is second to them I would say in strength and quality and they are cheaper in price.

I like the fact that the swingarm plate goes almost all the way to the chassis plate protecting the WHOLE link and chain and less likely to hang on something. not knocking PRM, AC but these brands stop right after the skid mounting bolts. and DG are just pure junk in my opinion. I saw a White Brothers skid on ebay and it looked like it went a little further past the bolts than the others but not as far a the Pro Armor skid.

PRO TECH hands down by far is the best protection and fit. AC is a POS i have an AC and i have to take it off after every raceand straighten it out. This week i tore one bolt hole out and bent it so far up that the chain and rotor wore through the skid plate.

Pro-Tec, Stainless steel with nice gussets, doesnt get any better, definetly better than anything Aluminum on the market, Downside? Look to spend 145 + shipping, WELL worth it, you will NEVER need to buy another one, it will outlast your quad

I still like the looks of my Pro Armor but I forgot about Pro-Tec completly..... you wont get anything stronger than stainless, of course you pay for it too. I dont like how it ends failry short in the back exposing the rotor and sprocket a bit but the link looks like its protected quite well. anybody have a pic on the quad? this is from the website.
