I have a 05 Z400 with full yoshi exhaust, jets, K&N, and both sprockets. I want to get some more power so I decided to get cams. After doing some research, I think I figured out what to get, but I just want to make sure it is right and if you guys would do anything different then let me know. I plan on buying Hotcams stage 2 intake and stage 1 exhaust with auto-decomp. I am also going to get the shim kit and the DRZe Kit at the same time. I am also getting a #25 pilot jet since I never did that when I got my exhaust (probably should have). Is this everything I need? I am building for the most reliability I can. What kinds of things should I tell the place where I get them installed? I know the valve clearance should be .005” for intake and .006” for exhaust. And the shims should be 2.75 for intake and 2.70 for exhaust. What other things should I let them know? Thanks for all the help!
