whats the diff. in the x,ex,and the r. and whats the diff in fourtrax and sportrax and how do you tell the diff.

I'm pretty sure the "e" in EX stands for electric start. Not sure about the others. And I don't think there is a difference between sportrax and fourtrax.:ermm:

the x/ex was meant for a fun sport quad and the "R" was supposed ot be an all out "r"acer

Sorry I just dont think either of you are right. I seem to remember reading that the EX started off as meaning Earth Crosser, and the R did indicate "racing. Let me look around some.

there is no difference in sportrax and fourtrax...the reason behind the change to sportrax for honda sport quads in 2001 was because their utes are called fourtrax...and they started to call their sport bikes sportrax so people knew the diffence...thats how i think it went anyway
