I got bit by the myspace bug and I dont know wtf I am doing on it yet. I want to put up some pics, post a music video and change my background. I know how to post pics on forums and all, so I am not a complete idiot I just dont know how to set it up on myspace. Thanks

backgrounds, go to www.pimpwebpage.com pick your stuff and copy the code into about me

videos, go to www.videocodezone.com (im not positive so u can google it and type, Music Video Codes)

And for pics, go to myspace.com, thats ur homepage, then go to upload/change photos, then browse and submit, (sometimes ur gonna need to resize them)

and last your gonna have to add me as a friend

you can find a pic online and use it as a background... jsut go to that site and you can basically set up ur whole page

pretty good for tweaking your page. You won't find pics on there, but just look on google and fing pics you want for backgrounds and such. Don't use a template, make one that is you design!

WOW. i just cant see why u people are so into such a gay thing like MYSPACE. first off most people on there try to be sweet and take pics with there abs or make it seem like there not posing for the camera. then u state gay ***** comments like, " look at me im a pimp". this just makes the girls feel sry for u and leave a comment. and most of the guys on there that never talk to girls will start talking to them because they cant do it in person. Am i missing sumthing here that makes this place so cool. sry i just had to vent on why i hate that place with a passion.

Yeah, the stupid, immature people on Myspace are anoying...but I like it, just because its easy to keep in touch with friends, and have something to do.

And I know almost everybody on my friends list. Not like most myspace whores, who add everyone in there power, and never say a word, nor look at them:rolleyes:

you know its not a dating website right? of course, there are always plenty of desperate people that cant get any action, but for alot of people (myself included) its a easy and fun way to keep in touch with friends and family that dont live aroud me.

i have one, too and i'm very happy with being able to keep in contact with friends, show off some pictures and things, and find out things bout people that i never knew. I have actually dated from finding out more about them due to their myspace, then to just meet up and go on a date. and it has worked out plenty of times.. i don't see what the big deal is, you need to do everything old fashioned besides the background research on the person while using it. People who say its gay are similar to the people who say something is stupid because its different or easier than the way they are doing it. IMO.
