hey guys, if you go on www.denniskirk.com or rockymountain, you can purchase universal K@n filters from $20-$50 that clamp right onto the carburetor! I have heard you can see gains of 2HP with proper jetting! this will eliminate the crappy intake system that resides in the predator. i plan on ordering this ASAP, so hit me up in this thread if you have any questions. i might not be around tomorrow, but i get back to ya.

go to www.nicholascycle.com and under the predator performance they will have a complete clamp on system. it has outer ware for them too.

how do you think the kit on nicholas compares to a direct clamp on K@N. the one on nicholas is a foam i think. i would imagine the K@n flows better, but what do you think?

the k&n will flow a tad more bit the twin air will filter better.

the only problem with the twin air is you have to oil it( literally) the K@n you just spray the oil. i could be wrong, but i thought the twin air cleaning/oiling procedure was relatively messy.

My buddy has a K&N bolted directly to the carb. The only thing i'll say is it's hard to keep clean and it lays against the crossmember on the frame when you put the seat on.

does the K@N "wobble" around when your driving, or does it stay pretty secure( cross member or not)?

Mine Did. I don't know if it was the wrong size or what. I know use a modded civic intake.
