400ex exhaust

I just bought my 400ex and it has a Pro Circuit pipe. How do I tell if the header pipe was replaced or if it is stock?

look at the pic of my head pipe. if it looks the same then its stock but the heat sheald doesnt have to be red like mine.

well does yours have a heat shield. if it has no heat shield or know mounts for one its not stock. most after market headers dont have a heat shield.

I thought the same, but my old 250R Atc from DG had a spot to mount factory heat shield.
