I found this site selling ceramic bearings and I am seriously considering getting some. Has anyone had experience with this company or the bearings they sell?: www.racingceramicbearings.com ?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think it would be a good idea, but is that $85 a piece?

I seen that but I have priced them higher then that. Have you used any? Best I can tell, there is good and bad.

Thanks

Ceremic bearings are great, but expensive. The ones used in Turbo Vacuum Pumps cost around $500/pair, but can handle a spin of 60,000 RPM

i know in the yo-yo market they are used and require less lube and last up to 3x longer. Might be nice to have a bearing last 3x longer! But if your looking at the performance side I dont think I would bother.
