Get ready to do paper work.. Honda wants all owner and numbers to match before you can get a new Left case !

Some days I just want to kick honda in the....nevermind. If someones quad is tore apart, just sell them the parts and let them fix it, who wants to do paperwork unless they are going to give you the case.

It is for theft reasons.. Any motorcycle engine over 400 cc needs to have the correct engine # on it that matches the frame # ..

This keeps thieves from just buying a new left case when they have a stolen engine.. The new case from honda will have a new sticker with the original #s on it.. The sticker says do not remove..LOL

mayeb motor bikes...but I know quad numbers don't match, it you don't beleive me just go check...there is no way to track a stolen motor, unless you copie down the number and give it to the cops if it's stolen.

Motor and frame numbers do not match but at honda they no exactly which motor is in each frame .just the other dat a customer or should i say a thief brought in a quad needing a key switch we took the vin number down and found out it was never sold stolen from a dealer in California needless to say we called the customer and told him the bike was done and the cops waited here and took him to jail the funny thing was he was a mexican nothing against mexicans but he was here illegally and back to mexico he went...
