I adjusted my valves and my machine still seems to be making that annoying ticking sound. Its only at the low RPMs because once i give it gas it goes away for a little then comes back as i let it idle. does this mean i need to adjust/replace my cam chain? or is it something else. thanks

mine did the same thing after i rebuilt it. make sure the valve clearnce is correct. wait a couple weeks and see if it goes away. it might be the timeing chain isnt tighten enough but it will tighen by its self. On my quad it did the same thing but it went away.

Double check, if not than prolly timing chain needs adjusting

The decompressor might not be disengaging.

the cam chain tenchener is automatic(you cant ajust it) i t does it by it self but if it is too strached you will need a new one

Yea, I'd say it is stretched. I'd go ahead and bump your timing chain up to a 4/5 row chain.
