My son got his Christmas present early!!!!!!!

Well I can FINALLY let the secret out WHOOOHOOOOO we got our oldest son DJ a QUAD for Christmas :D:D:D:D

He is now the PROUD owner of a 04' YFZ450 this is the one he raced last year, it is the ONLY one he ever wanted hahaha it was a total dream come true for him, we had Santa present it too him Sat. night @ the races he was shocked to say the least, ran up gave Dad a BIG ol' hug(very unusual) he rode the hell outta it & brought home a 1st & 2nd :D:D:D then he rode his 1st ICE event on it Sun. in the Amature class w/ only 100 studs & got 1st in his heat & think about 6th 7th in his main, he stalled it & it was flooded so it took a minute to get it started :( NO biggie though he had a blast!!! Just a few more months & he can start running some Pro classes locally YIPEEEEEE!!!!

THANKS for the nice comments I've been wanting to do this for a YEAR now, his Dad didn't want him to have a faster quad than him LOL :rolleyes: he FINALLY got over that & so we got this one we know the work it's had & the maintenance schedule which was VERY VERY well kept!! We had an opportunity to buy a Honda 440EX but luckily talked to someone about it & found out it had been rode HARD & put away wet so glad we didn't do that & this one was about the same price :eek2: :eek2: :devil: :devil:
Also this will only be used for racing until he turns 18 (except for dune trips, who can go to the dunes & leave a 450 home LOL)

I just asked him that the other day if he could tell a difference between the old DRD & this one & he said YES!! It's hella LOUD though, we got a quiet core for it for the dunes though :)
