Did you take it to Friday night, test and tune at Quaker City? I used to run my Trans Am out there every Friday. I used to love it. Never saw any quads out there just snowmobiles, and Jr. Dragsters.

There was a modded shee at the dragstrip I was at last night. He ran 14.01 at 83 mph. He was not happy with the mph for some reason, he claimed it would do 120. Im thinking 120 in the quarter would put him in the 10s. I am sure he was at top speed before the end because he was in 6th gear at 1/8th. So I am thinking the 120 bussiness was BS. But having said that I was darned impressed with the 14.01. :huh

I think your right. A 14.01 is fast, but, at 120 mph, is impossible. Most cars dream of that mph in the 1/4. That dude must have been fuucked up or something.

I was at dragway 42's test and tune in West Salem, Ohio.
I was topped out at 1000 feet.

I was impressed mine ran 15.7. I just wished my truck would of hooked up a little better. I only got a 15.8 out of it last night.

Here are my latest time slips... My 400 with it's current cross country setup is listed and my bone stock Cannondale....

The track's speed calculation at the 1/4 mile mark is hosed, but all other stats are correct.

Looks like our 400's would have a good race...

Track elevation is probably in the realm of 1200'

Current 400 mods are:

87mm JE piston, lightened & around 10.6:1 compression
GT Thunder cam - one of their milder cams
39mm FCR
X-4 sparks exhaust
mild port work
16/38 gearing
8 plate clutch
Full Fenders (or is that parachutes :))

Rider weight - about 190-195lbs
6 ply 20" Razrs on the rear
6 ply 22" Razrs on the front
full skids, chromoly swingarm

The Cannondale was bone stock, 190-195lbs rider - I think I can improve on it's time in the 60' as it's wheelie'ing up on each run..

I am stuck on what to do,i may be getting some money for my neck injury,i either want a CRF450,or buy a used Shee,and make it a fast 1/4mile quad,since they alow quads to drag now.

I mean,if i get a shee,i am talkin a 500 or 570 Long rod,out-the frame pipes,NOS,+6swingarm, and so on. I wanna run 11's at 100+mph.

Also i wanna def trick the 400ex out too,or save it for the new EX whenever it comes out.

So what do you guys think?

Gabe- I'm sure if i had the same gearing and carb we would be real close. But those fenders do slow you down a bit. I would like to see what my stroker motor is gonna do after that gets done. I'm thinking it should drop another 4 to 6 tenth.

Pro400- If your just gonna drag race i would just go with the banshee.
