yes you will definitly want suspension i raced one race one my 250ex stock suspension and couldn't jump very far or high withoout landind hard i changed it and was alot faster because you can jump farther and get higher to clear jumps which makes you faster because your smoother

We spent big bucks on his suspension. +2 400ex Viper A-arms from Legacy ATV. Some Custom length fully adjustable Elka zero preload shocks. Lone Star Stem. Worth every penny.

that looks like a nice 300. imo you should sell the 400ex a-arms and switch to gdh lts that use 400ex length elkas which you would not need to change shocks for but maybe revalving and he should have a better ride. but that is my opinion but nice quad anyways

Thanks. We've been working on that quad for two seasons now... It's always changing... Hopefully for the better.

The shocks are actually custom made by Elka explicity for our setup. The whole front end is based on the 400ex. Spindles, hubs.

We have a set +2 300ex arms for backup.

suspension is by far the biggest thing to improve speed and air time

I think motor mods are better. I felt way faster when i got my motor built, than when I got my front end and axis rear. JMO

i was told this table is around 80 feet. In this race i was casing it 3rd tapped. The next week i had track to myself and was clearing it (landing 10-15 feet down the downside of it) in 4th tapped. Its the biggest air i have ever done come to date. This was with FULL TCS ZPS suspension setup for me on my 400ex. :D
Ihave stock 400ex a-arms and shocks for sale the left bottom a-arm has been re-welded ( shock mount not a big deal not much force, just stock one had rusted through) i will sell everything for 100 plus shipping.

look on ebay for used parts then.... people are always selling 300ex/blaster parts because they move up to bigger quads and wont get any money for there quad unless they part it out. if you get some works shocks up front, raptor rear (i think thats the one that works on the 300ex right? somebody confirm that) and some used a-arms you should be set. you cant really get much better for that price. id save for an axle after that.

i have elka dual rate recs up front on stock a arms and a 2001 raptor rear. I love it. I race harescrambles, which are 1.5 hrs and i have yet to feel the shock fade.

b/c it is a remote reservoir. The others are piggybacks and it would interfere with the airbox. BUt even if you take off the airbox im not sure if it would still work.

The threads that hold the cap stripped out so we just flipped it, drilled and tapped new ones. It looks funky but it works okay.
