I was riding today and was running great when I locked up the brakes to turn around and now the bike will not rev out. It seems like there is a fuel issue or something. I drained the bowl and pulled the main jet and found nothing.I will pull the carb off tommorrow and look further. Just trying to get an idea of what might be wrong. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

make sure your brakes are not stuck.

When I push the throttle the engine stalls.

my o4 bike did the same thing once. I pulled the carb and cleaned it ( even though it was already clean) and check other stuff? put the carb back on and it ran fine, only did it once????

check all the vents on the carb and off like the gas cap too. I take it its probaly cold were you ride?? ICE can do alot of stuff to a bike.

I had the same problem and it was a easy fix.....check your fuel Switch...Mine was on RES and it did the same thing to what you are describing.

does it sound like its bouncing off the rev limiter at low RPMS

I took the carb off and apart only to find that the two screws that hold the slide to the actuator arm had fallen out. I don't know if this is common but it can ruin a good day of riding. Thankfully this is not a major problem.
