ok today when i was riding i noticed that my front sprocket was loose so i didn’t ride it that much only to get home when i got home i tighten it all the way but it still was loose what could this be thanks

mines been loose ever since i got it 2 years ago. I havnt worried about it and its still workin fine.

Thats normal mine and all my freinds ex400s looks unsafe and wibles and wobbles and moves around. you need two replace it atleast once or twice a year the splines on the sprocket wears out

what is that splines

the splines I think are the little teeth that connect to the rod that goes into the motor. THe little splines on the sprocket wear out and can cause the sprocket to come off! I changed my sprocket from a 15 tooth to a 14 tooth today, and the splines were in perfect condition. So you dont need to replace the sprocket that often.

for a new sprocket? sprockets can range in price depending on quality.
